Storms Creek Missionary Baptist Church would like to ask you, “If you died right now, are you 100% sure you would go to Heaven?”

There are basically four things you need to know from the Bible, to have the assurance that when YOU die YOU will go to Heaven:

I.  EVERYONE IS A SINNER – ROMANS 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”  The reason that we “come short” of God’s glory (God’s righteousness or perfect nature) is because “all have sinned.”  “All” includes me and it also includes YOU.  First of all, you must agree with the Bible and admit that you are a sinner.

II.  EVERYONE OWES FOR SIN – ROMANS 6:23a

For the wages (penalty of debt) of sin is death.”  This is speaking of eternal death, which is also called, “the second death.”

Revelation 20:14 – “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fireThis is the second death.”

III.  THE SIN DEBT HAS BEEN PAID – ROMANS 6:23

For the wages of sin {is} death; but the gift of God {is} eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Notice:  Eternal life is:

  1. Not through going to church.
  2. Not through being baptized.
  3. Not through being a good person.

It is “through Jesus Christ.”  The third thing you must believe is that Jesus has paid the wages of sin by dying for you, and eternal life is only through Him.

IV.  YOU CAN BE SAVED

Although Jesus died to pay for sin debt, not everyone is on his way to Heaven.

You must personally receive God’s gift of eternal life.  You must believe what Jesus has done for you, and ask Him to save you.

Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved.”

Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you would like to trust Jesus Christ as Savior, simply bow your head right now and humbly:

  1. Admit to God that you are a sinner.
  2. Tell Him you believe Jesus died for you.
  3. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and save your soul.
  4. Then believe that He promised to save you.

I John 5:13 says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that Ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

John 10:28 says, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any {man} pluck them out of my hand.”

John 5:24 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my Word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
